Gavin is responsible for recruiting into two distinct industry areas: renewable energy and infrastructure. Based in our Sydney office and with responsibility for the APAC region, Gavin’s remit within renewable encompasses solar, wind, hydro, geothermic, waste to energy and biomass; as part of his infrastructure focus, Gavin works across road, bridges, tunnels and drainage. In these markets, Gavin finds and places the right talent in business critical roles which include sales, land acquisition managers, intelligent traffic systems, through to marketing directors, project directors and chief commercial officers, to name but a few. Gavin’s discipline focus is extensive, covering technical, operations, sales and marketing, engineering and design, IT, legal, finance and accounts; and HR, talent and support staff. Gavin partners with developers, investors and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) clients to help strengthen their hiring practices by identifying and sourcing the right permanent people for their businesses. He does this across the Asia Pacific region, with an emphasis at present on Australia and the Philippines. Gavin has over a decade’s recruitment experience. Starting in 2006, he began his recruitment career within the engineering industry in Melbourne and has since worked in Dubai, UK, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines, finding search solutions for clients all over the world. He joined CSG in 2019, bringing with him a wealth of global market experience. This experience is underpinned by a real passion for the recruitment industry and a natural strength in developing long term relationships.
