Brett focuses on higher education and has conducted searches in student affairs, libraries, communications, social sciences, nursing, and engineering. His searches have spanned not only a variety of fields, but also a mix of public, private, faith-based, and liberal arts institutions. Before joining our firm, Brett was a grant writer with New York University's Corporation and Foundation Relations team. He also worked on the institutional giving team at the nonprofit Roundabout Theatre Company. There, he built public and private partnerships that supported productions, new play development, and K–12 education programs in New York City public schools. Brett's work building mutually beneficial partnerships in the nonprofit sector has influenced his creative, collaborative search approach—much to the appreciation of his clients.
