Greg Preston has over 20 years of experience in executive search, with the primary focus of his search practice being senior technical, operational and project leadership roles within the natural resources, energy and industrial sectors. Before joining Stanton Chase Perth office, Greg operated a boutique search practice with a strong focus on the Australian mining sector and its projects and operations offshore. Prior to that, he held a global headhunting role with a Tier One EPCM firm, and consulted in Australia, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific for BHP, Rio Tinto and Vale. Through his years serving the global natural resources sector, Greg has gained critical experience across a range of commodities including copper, gold, graphite, iron ore, lithium (carbonate and hydroxide), potash, rare earths and nickel (laterite and sulphide). Coupled with extensive experience in the engineering sector, Greg is extremely well positioned to assist clients with the most difficult of global searches. Greg holds a BA in Political Science and History and is undertaking a MA in International Relations and National Security. He sits on the Board of a local bank, and he enjoys weight training and cycling in his spare time.
