Angela Karwal is a born and raised Edmontonian who graduated with her Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resource Management from the University of Alberta in 2006. In 2008, Angela became a Chartered Professional in Human Resources. (CPHR). Angela started her Human Resources career in 2006 with Office of the Auditor General of Alberta (OAG) as a Human Resources Consultant. Angela’s focus was on talent management, and recruitment for senior auditors, financial audit managers, system audit managers, audit principals and other senior management roles. She has also worked on various compensation review projects related to the CPA program and total reward packages for the OAG. As a Search Consultant with Leaders International, Angela is involved in managing various recruitment projects in executive, senior management and technical in various industry sectors. Angela is an active recruiter and has built a strong network of executive, management and professional relationships in Alberta.
