Paul is a Senior Consultant specialising in handling IT assignments for public and private sector clients across the North East. Typical projects include identifying candidates for IT managerial positions including generalists, Technical Infrastructure, Support, Service Delivery and Project Management opportunities, in addition to senior technical roles including Systems and Database Administrators, Business Analysts, MI/BI and Systems Analysts. Over the last 3 years, Paul has organised and chaired regular meetings of the Nigel Wright NE IT Managers’ forum that provides opportunities for local IT Managers to debate topical issues. Paul has worked for Nigel Wright since 2000 and has worked within finance, HR and most recently IT recruitment delivering assignments up to and including Director positions. After graduating with a BSc in Chemistry from Sheffield University, Paul’s earlier career was in accountancy where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in Birmingham, before working in Corporate Finance for 4 years with PwC in Newcastle
