Biography
Michael Specks has over 30 years of experience in advertising, marketing communications, brand management, recruitment marketing, and employer branding. Prior to joining Passion for People, he held senior positions at global advertising, HR/RM, and technology companies. There, he provided strategic consulting to numerous international blue-chip companies in the automotive, financial services, service, energy, FMCG, and logistics sectors. Most recently, Michael served as Regional Vice President for the DACH region at a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition software. He possesses in-depth knowledge of the cross-industry challenges and opportunities in HR and recruitment, both from a technological perspective (e.g., SaaS, career websites, CRM, programmatic/adtech, employee referrals) and a content-related one (e.g., employer branding). His experience spans from medium-sized businesses to globally operating corporations.
Michael holds a degree in Marketing Communications from Walter Eucken Business School and certifications in Performance Leadership (Cornell University) with a focus on coaching and people performance, as well as Disruptive Strategy (Harvard Business School) with a focus on innovation. With his extensive background in consulting and management, combined with his current expertise from leading academic institutions, Michael now supports companies and talent in addressing their challenges and ensures targeted matching.
Since May 2023, Michael Specks has been Managing Partner of the entrepreneurial network Passion for People.
