Perry Brown is an Executive Search Director with Cordia Resources based out of our Vienna, VA office. Perry has over 30 years in recruiting and placement in the DC, MD and VA area and specializes in identifying top talent in accounting, finance, tax, audit and financial consulting at all levels. He takes tremendous pride in building relationships with businesses, as well as candidates, to make a lasting and valued connection. Perry’s first professional position was as an auditor for Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). He later joined a boutique recruiting/staffing firm in Washington, DC and stayed there for the next 30 years, during which time the firm went through several ownership changes and was eventually acquired by a large international staffing firm. Perry has worked in various departments including; running a perm desk, temporary staffing, training, and practice and branch management. During his tenure he also earned numerous performance awards. Perry is an active CPA in Virginia, with a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech. He is active with various professional networking groups including; The Northern Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPA’s, CFO & Controllers’ Special Interest Group. Perry and his wife live in Fairfax, VA where they raised their 3 daughters and now enjoys the role of grandparent. He continues to be active within the community and leads various community service projects.
