Eric Mussler

Mr. Mussler advises multinational clients across a range of industries, including retail, energy, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing and other large, regulated and unregulated companies on many aspects of multi-state corporate income and franchise tax, sales and use tax and other state and local jurisdictional taxes, FIN-48 provision, due diligence, restructuring, M&A, controversy services, data robotic automation systems, refunds and credits/incentives.

Additionally, Mr. Mussler is a North Carolina tax resource for helping clients with state audits and tax issues.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mussler spent more than 30 years with Big Four accounting firms and government, including the North Carolina Department of Revenue, PwC and KPMG.

Mr. Mussler earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from East Carolina University. He is a frequent speaker on state tax matters for the Tax Executive Institute, Energy Tax Association and other organizations.
