David Laska joined Wilton & Bain in January 2023 as a Principal Consultant within the Consulting and Tech services practice. David works with a range of private equity firms across the technology and services market. He supports clients in pre-deal scenarios where executives are required for diligence and market insight. Additionally, he places CEOs, CFOs, Board Directors, and Chairs into portfolio companies. David was initially based in New York before moving to our US headquarters in Austin and works across the whole North America region. David previously led Skillcapital’s Tech, Media, and Telco team in North America. At Skillcapital, he supported some of the world’s leading private equity funds on numerous successful transactions. He also placed CEOs, CFOs, and Board Directors into portfolio companies. David’s extensive experience in executive search and private equity makes him a valuable asset to Wilton & Bain. His ability to identify and place top-tier executives enhances the strategic growth of his clients. His work ensures that portfolio companies have the leadership needed to succeed. David holds BAs in Politics and Art History from New York University. His educational background provides him with a unique perspective on the business landscape.
