Gabriele is an experienced search professional with over 15 years' executive search experience. He has a strong focus on the Industry, Life Sciences and Supply Chain sectors including Manufacturing, Energy, Automotive, Chemicals, Utilities and he has a vast experience from the European and Mediterranean countries including northern Africa. He entered the executive search industry in 1998 when he joined Spencer Stuart as a core member in the Industry practice and as Executive Vice President to launch an internet-based recruitment division which rapidly grew to represent up to the 30% of the company's turnover. In 2005 Gabriele joined Heidrick & Struggles where he was a Partner in the Industry and Life Sciences Practices as well as in the Supply Chain Functional Practice. Gabriele spent the first 10 years of his career in three chemical Multinationals (Du Pont, Uniroyal and Rhone Poulenc) as international sales and marketing manager, holding responsibilities for geographies and strategic products in the EMEA region. In 1989 he decided to take part in the start up of a Swedish recruiting company in Italy that in a few years became market leader in its business area. Gabriele holds a university degree in Agricultural Sciences and a doctorate in Phytopathology. He is fluent in Italian and English.
