Josh Romalis

Biography
Josh Romalis leads ALG's operations team with a focus on providing strategic and operational support to ALG colleagues, candidates, and clients. Josh has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, program, and operations, both in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to ALG, Josh was the Executive Director of LIFT-Philadelphia, a nonprofit anti-poverty organization that engaged volunteers to support more than 2,500 Philadelphians annually. He served as the Associate Director for the U.S. Peace Corps in Guinea, West Africa; having served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in neighboring Mali, he led the efforts of Small Enterprise Development Volunteers throughout the country. Josh also worked as the Director of Community Outreach with the SHARE Food Program, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit food distribution network providing support to families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Earlier in his career, he held project management and information architecture roles at Away.com, a web-based adventure travel company. Josh serves on the Advisory Board of Our Closet, a nonprofit organization providing clothing to Philadelphians in need, and is part of the Grants Committee of the Mockingbird Foundation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his Master’s degree in Intercultural Management from the Graduate Institute at the School for International Training. Josh lives outside Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
