Marissa Young is an Executive Search Consultant with JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice. She focuses on recruiting executive talent for early-stage, middle-market, and high-growth private equity portfolio companies. Marissa joined JM Search from Korn Ferry where she was a member of the firm’s Global Life Sciences / Healthcare Practice and Financial Officers Center of Expertise. She specialized in the recruitment coordination of senior-level financial executives across the entire healthcare continuum. Her client relationships included public and private-equity-backed companies as well as non-profit organizations. Earlier in her tenure at Korn Ferry, Ms. Young was a member of the company’s Technology practice focusing on C-level leadership searches. Prior to her pivot into Executive Search, Marissa was a project coordinator for a privately-held structural engineering firm with a particular focus on concrete structures and began her career at a privately-held architecture and engineering firm specializing in the design and renovation of hospitals and healthcare facilities. Ms. Young earned a bachelor of science degree in Psychology from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. She is a board member of the Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue, a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to and advocating for the rescue and rehoming of Pit Bull terriers throughout the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
