WHAT MADE YOU INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN RECRUITING? When I was in the Big 4, I realized that the things I loved most about my job were on campus recruiting, getting to know my clients and coworkers and corporate volunteering. It took me a few years to realize that and once I did I met with a recruiter and realized – this is the perfect job for me! HOW DO YOU APPROACH BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH A CLIENT OR CANDIDATE? I like to get to know the person on a professional level and also learn about them on a personal level as well. Finding common ground with clients and candidates is a great way to build a rapport and trust with someone that you are going to work closely with on a very important decision, whether it’s the next step in their career or hiring the next member of their team.
