John is a Partner with Crown Advisors and a key member of the Crown Leadership team. He joined the firm in 2000 and leads the Chicago office for Crown. John recruits senior executives from all facets of commercial real estate. He has conducted numerous successful searches in property acquisitions & dispositions, fund management, property and asset management, leasing, investment sales, operations, development and construction, with a special focus on debt and equity finance. His loyal clients span the U.S. from coast to coast. Before joining Crown, John spent more than 20 years in human resources at six GE and GE Capital businesses including GE Real Estate. He received several awards for outstanding performance during his GE tenure. John is a graduate of Kent State University and GE’s Human Resources Leadership Program. His professional commercial real estate affiliations include the Mortgage Bankers Association, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and National Multifamily Housing Council. He also works with the Urban Land Institute as an active member of the Seniors Housing Council.
