Adam Clark is a partner in the Firm’s Technical Review and Quality Control Group. He is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Firm’s assurance policies and procedures and compliance with governing bodies. In addition, he provides guidance to Firm professionals on technical accounting and auditing matters. Mr. Clark joined the Firm in 2017 and has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, internal controls, root cause analysis, and regulatory oversight. He has an in-depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and PCAOB auditing and related professional practice standards. Mr. Clark has extensive experience in various industries and technical areas, including oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, software, revenue recognition, and business combinations. He also has experience with foreign private issuers and IFRS. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Clark was an associate director at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Previously, he was at two “Big 4” public accounting firms, separated by time at the aerospace division of a Fortune 100 company. Mr. Clark is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he received his BBA in Accounting.
