In 2008, after moving to London from Australia, for two years. In 2010, I returned home and set up the Richmond Associates’ Australia office. I’ve been there ever since! Since joining Richmond Associates, I have worked with a wide variety of clients on both sides of the globe – from those at the pinnacle of the performing and visual arts in London, Sydney and Melbourne, to building significant fundraising teams for growing operations with King’s College London, University of Melbourne, ANU, University of Queensland and UNSW among others. Helping smaller organisations establish fundraising and advancement operations with organisations in health, broader not for profits, independent schools is always an inspiring challenge. However, beyond the calibre and reputation of our clients is the knowledge that Richmond Associates and its growing presence internationally is helping to pave the way for aspiring young professionals to pursue a career in philanthropic fundraising. We are helping to broaden the careers of those who aspire to work across international borders and giving a global credibility to the advancement profession. With a tertiary background in music and beginning my own fundraising career in the performing arts with Opera Australia in Sydney, the connection the company has to helping support the cultural sector is a personal as well as professional passion.
