Biography
Andrea brings broad experience as an academic, cultural, and organizational leader to her role at CarterBaldwin. Based in Washington, DC, she has led coalition building, policy formation, and education and religious liberty initiatives for the White House Office of Public Liaison and the White House Initiative for Hispanics in Educational Excellence, as well as the US Department of Education’s Center for Faith and Opportunity. Prior to government service, Andrea served as executive director for the Faith and Education Coalition of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, where she led education initiatives promoting the faith-based community’s involvement in education. Andrea holds a PhD in organizational leadership from Regent University and an MBA in conflict resolution from Dallas Baptist University. She has served as a trustee for Dallas Baptist University and as an advisor for Christianity Today Women, Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Leaders Institute for Faith and Education, and Rice University Religion and Public Life Program’s Faith at Work study. Andrea is affectionally called “Dr. Drea” and in her free time enjoys walks, meaningful conversations, and family swim nights with her husband, Fabian, and their two children.
