Shahidul started his career as a Lecturer at Woolwich College of Further Education teaching English and ESOL. He moved from FE into local government, joining Tower Hamlets Council, working in the Chief Executive’s Office as the Corporate Strategy Manager. He started his executive recruitment career with PricewaterhouseCoopers Search and Selection in 2001. Following the sale of this part of the business to Capita, the company rebranded as Veredus Resourcing, where he was promoted to Managing Consultant. His next move was to KPMG Search and Selection before being headhunted to join Rockpools to set up and lead the education practice. After five years with Rockpools, he set up Bloomsbury Resourcing in 2010 and worked with clients across the public and not-for-profit sectors. He joined Cadence Partners in 2020. He is also a Vice-Chair of Governors at Mossbourne Community Academy in Hackney and an external Trustee for Greenwich University Students’ Union.
