Biography
After working in marketing and PR in the tourism industry and several years of self-employment in insurance consulting, Sandro Rüegger entered the media business in 1998, where he subsequently held various management positions at well-known media companies such as Jean Frey AG (now Axel Springer Schweiz AG ) and Tamedia AG .
In addition to various team-related restructuring tasks, he also set up business units, managed group-wide key account units and held training positions. As a member of the management board of Jean Frey AG, he was involved in the very successful group turnaround.
As managing director of Weltwoche Verlags AG, he headed the most important Swiss political magazine for three and a half years. Sandro Rüegger was a member of various specialist committees of the Swiss Media Association and a long-standing expert in federal marketing and communications examinations.
In 2013, he switched to executive search and focuses his work with us on the areas of media/communication, leisure and tourism, retail and service companies.
