My name is Wim de Kruijf and I have been working for Van de Groep & Olsthoorn since 2012. In a gap year between my VWO and Sociology studies, I focused on implementing a new recruitment system. During my studies, I continued working at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn, where, in addition to IT and Marketing & Communication, I increasingly focused on the search profession. My Sociology studies in combination with a minor in Organizational Sciences led to the opportunity to conduct research into departure intentions among Managers and Directors in the Van de Groep & Olsthoorn network in my Master's thesis. After a fantastic camper trip to the United States, I was given the opportunity to learn the profession of Consultant under the wings of my experienced colleagues. Since 2024, I have been General Manager at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn. Since my student days I have lived in Utrecht (and nowadays also regularly with my girlfriend in The Hague). In the weekend I can often be found in the city for a bite to eat and a drink. I find further relaxation in playing (indoor) football and regularly going out with my motorbike to discover beautiful places and routes in the Netherlands. I discover beautiful places abroad during my road trips that have taken me to the United States and Argentina in recent years.
