Sven (1975) started at Volvo Financial Services after his HBO Business Management training. After a year he made the transition to a commercial field service position in the export department of Continental Tire Group. After almost 9 years of doing this with great pleasure, he made the switch from sales to purchasing. This role in the after sales department of Pon's Automobielhandel has provided many new insights and contacts. However, the blood was crawling where it couldn't go and after 3 years Sven rolled back into the tire industry, this time as responsible for business development in the Benelux at Apollo Vredestein. During his career in the automotive industry, Sven has developed commercially, in which long-term relationships are paramount. Since September 2017, Sven has been associated with Heiwegen Consultancy as an Associated Partner. His expertise lies in aftermarket suppliers, OEM manufacturers and importers. Sven is father of 2 sons and lives in the Northwest Veluwe. In his spare time he likes to play tennis, is a fanatical motorsport enthusiast and is involved with classic motorcycles.
