Chris joined Alex Kaar in 2012 and leads the national Marketing, Communications, Sales, Customer Experience and Digital practices for Alex Kaar.

As a senior executive search consultant with over 20 years experience collaborating with prominent global brands on their talent management requirements, Chris has appointed a variety of high-profile leadership roles. With an extensive network, deeply entrenched relationships and a track record recruiting senior appointments, Chris is one of the most distinguished recruiters in his field.

Chris has gained experience within a variety of industries including energy, banking and finance, insurance, technology, manufacturing, FMCG, education and telecommunications. Recently, Chris has been involved in several high-profile appointments including Chief Marketing Officer, EGM Corporate Affairs, General Manager Customer Experience, Head of Brand and Communications and Director of Sales.

Chris began his recruitment career in a consulting role with an US based international recruitment firm, specifically focusing on the placement of advertising professionals in both creative and account management roles within global advertising networks. Several years later, he launched their marketing recruitment arm in Australia and managed a team of consultants, before taking a role with a boutique, Melbourne based FMCG marketing search firm as a senior consultant.

Aside from his recruitment career, Chris is the founder and CEO of Australia’s most popular performing arts website, TheatrePeople.com.au and is an award-winning theatrical actor and director. He’s an accomplished musician and writer and his love of the arts extends to drawing and painting.
