Margie joined Crown Advisors as its first employee in 1996. She is now a Managing Director and opened Crown’s Florida office in 2012. She conducts senior level searches in real estate investment, development, operations and finance for the most respected and recognized names in the industry. Margie has the unique abilities to uncover candidate strengths and challenges, understand her clients’ cultures and ensure the right fit for everyone involved. She is particularly adept at new platform initiatives, as demonstrated when she placed both the debt and equity leadership teams inside the affordable housing division of a national multifamily organization. Margie earned dual degrees in business and speech communications from West Virginia University. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, National Multifamily Housing Council, National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, Mortgage Bankers Association and International Council of Shopping Centers. She is a regular speaker at national real estate industry events.
