Michael Milazzo is a partner in the Firm’s Tax & Business Services Group. He has more than 25 years of experience consulting with public and private businesses on federal and state tax matters. He practices extensively in the areas of corporate, partnership and individual taxation. Mr. Milazzo structures client engagements that provide proactive tax assistance and manages all compliance, notices, income tax provisions (ASC 740), planning, and research—a process that assures business owners and CFOs that their complete tax matters are being effectively and properly administered. With significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Milazzo has participated in more than 200 transactions – including stock and asset deals and tax-free reorganizations – and has extensive knowledge in structuring transactions and conducting tax due diligence. Prior to joining Marcum via Skoda Minotti, Mr. Milazzo was a tax manager with a national firm.
