James supports the mid-to-senior end of the Professional Services HR market; working with legal, accounting, property and consulting firms and focusing on generalist and specialist HR roles. Prior to moving into the world of HR, he spent around 15 years’ recruiting marketing and business development specialists for law and professional services firms and building long-term and consultative relationships with individuals and businesses alike. A qualified and accredited coach, James is passionate about bridging the gap between helping people change jobs and their deeper professional transformation. In between his transition from Marketing to HR recruitment, he set up and managed a private coaching business supporting people going through major change, from shifting to remote working, to managing redundancy, changing careers or starting their own business. Outside of work, James is a busy father to his 8 year-old daughter and 4 year-old son. When free time permits, he loves getting outside for a long run, watching football and most other sports or listening to podcasts on business, leadership and personal development.
