Bicker Caarten (1966) graduated in 1990 as a corporate lawyer in Leiden. She has had a varied career in various sectors. She worked at Royal Nedlloyd, Endemol Shine, Municipality of Haarlem, Ministry of the Interior, Net4Kids Foundation and African Parks Foundation. In 2013 she made the move to Maes & Lunau Executive Search where she brought together all the experiences she had gained in her previous positions. She has done a series of assignments in logistics, the media, the public domain and the social field. An enormous diversity of candidates, organizations and cultures crossed her path. She has supplemented this knowledge and experience in her role at Van de Bunt Adviseurs, where she focused on self-evaluations of Supervisory Boards and Supervisory Boards, on governance and leadership issues and on diversity workshops. However, her heart is in executive search and at TEN she can contribute to leadership in the sectors she already knows well. As a practice leader, she serves the logistics and public transport, media and culture, public domain and non-profit sectors from TEN. Dani is curious, skilled and involved. Her experience in both the business and non-profit sector gives her a broad view and vision on organizational cultures and leadership. She is passionate about promoting diversity at the top. She now also uses her years of commitment to gender diversity to promote cultural diversity in the boardroom. She is convinced that diverse teams perform better and have a better connection with society.
