Joe Lopykinski, CPA is a Director with The Overture Group. Joe brings more than thirty years of professional experience to The Overture Group which includes fifteen years in executive and professional search consulting focusing in the accounting and finance, information technology and human resources related disciplines. During that time, he held the positions of Director at Sikich LLP in the Executive Search and Staffing Advisory Services Group as well as Managing Principal of Ingenium Partners LLC – a boutique executive and professional search firm. His clients have included publicly traded and privately held companies in multiple industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, non-profit and professional services. Prior to embarking in a career in professional search consulting, Joe began his career with Big 4 public accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick (currently KPMG) in the firm’s audit practice specializing in the manufacturing, retail and financial services industries. In addition, Joe has held key industry management positions in corporate accounting, finance, treasury and consulting which have served as a solid foundation for his career in search. Approaching each search with an uncompromising level of professional ethics and willingness to find the best talent possible, Joe is willing to go above and beyond for both his clients and his candidates. His attention to detail and process-focused approach ensures everyone that he truly cares about them and their hiring/career needs. Joe is currently a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)and the Illinois CPA Society. Joe graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. A former University Scholar Award Winner, Joe also served in a leadership capacity as President of the University’s Golden Key National Honor Society.
