VANITA VAZ IS A PRINCIPAL WITH SHELDON HARRIS, JOINING IN 2018. With over 14 years’ experience in executive search across multiple geographies, Vanita has managed execution of search engagements for both publicly listed and privately held organisations, playing a lead role in Executive and Non-Executive search, assessment and succession projects. She has also worked extensively with both Federal and State Government bodies as well as some of Australia’s leading arts and culture organisations. Previously Vanita gained extensive knowledge working with international search firms Heidrick & Struggles and Egon Zehnder, where she focussed on the Technology, Telecommunications, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Government and Not for Profit sectors. She was also responsible for the Financial Services Sector focusing on fintech, retail banking, working on senior C-suite appointments both in Australia and internationally. Vanita commenced her earlier career as an Executive with Datamatics Limited – a large Indian multinational technology organisation working in communications and the marketing business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations & Mass Media Communications.
