Seck Wee Tan has many years’ experience in many industry sub-segments which can be primarily grouped as being part and parcel of the Lifestyle Category, and is able to add value to executive search, with his first-hand appreciation and understanding of FMCG, Retail, Advertising and Media, Consumer Electronics, Fashion and Cosmetics, Alcoholic Beverages, Telecommunications and E-Commerce Industry Segments, to cite a few. Being a corporate professional throughout his career, he has served in senior leadership positions in notable companies, with regional coverage responsibilities across key markets within the Asia Pacific Region. Within a career history spanning almost 40 years, Seck Wee Tan has worked with household brands and related companies, including MediaCorp, Singtel, Eastman Kodak Company, Mattel Toys, Metro Department Stores, L’Oreal, and Asia Pacific Breweries, holding either General or Senior Management responsibilities. Throughout this period, he has recruited, managed, mentored and led literally hundreds of key managers, many whom have gone on to senior leadership positions within the region. Throughout his career, Seck Wee has consistently participated in Change Management, including Company and Digital Transformation, key issues which continue to confront and challenge many companies today. Apart from Executive Search, Seck Wee continues to pursue his interest and appreciation with Classical Music and Fine Wine, the latter through his association as stakeholder of a fast-growing international fine wine distribution company. Seck Wee holds a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore and Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. He has also attended the HIMAC International Management Program organised for Heineken NV at INSEAD. Seck Wee also recently qualified for the CSW (Certified Specialist in Wine) and the FWS (French Wine Scholar) Wine Certifications.
