Tom Stretton, Managing Director, is one of the founding members of our Sydney office, working in the Partner Practice Group. He recruits partners and teams into firms across Australia and internationally, priding himself on his truly consultative approach and the close personal relationships he has developed within the legal community over many years. He works across the whole spectrum of practice areas but has particular expertise within corporate, intellectual property and employment law. In addition to his work concentrating on the placement of individual partners, Tom has facilitated a number of office openings for firms seeking to open in new jurisdictions and has been responsible for some of the most high-profile team moves in the market in recent years. He has recruited for some of the most prestigious firms in Australia and internationally and is well placed to offer advice to those seeking a move to a global player. Tom also counts some of the strongest domestic firms within his client portfolio. Tom resides in Paddington in Sydney's eastern suburbs with his wife, Maria, his son, Henry, and dog, Baxter. In addition to being a long-suffering Aston Villa fan, he has adopted the Sydney Swans as his AFL team of choice. In the summer months, he represents the famous Paddington Cricket Club.
