William has spent more than 15 years focusing on searches across the international energy sector, working with many small & mid-cap companies, as well as a number of the world’s leading operators. William’s focus is on Board, Exco and multidisciplinary leadership appointments for both private and listed companies globally. As a Partner in Curzon’s Board Practice, he brings a particular strength in recruiting Chairs & NEDs for both London-listed and international clients. Prior to joining Curzon, William worked as an energy & natural resources journalist, working on residential postings in North Africa, the Caspian and across South America. A graduate from the University of Bristol, he began his career as an equity analyst with HSBC in London. William’s career has also seen him serve as a Director for the EMEA Region with IIC Partners, one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, which has more than 50 partner offices in more than 30 countries.
