Biography
Naomi Tachibana serves as managing partner of Tokyo for DHR International. She serves the executive recruiting needs of clients in life science, healthcare, advanced technology, automotive, consumer / retail, and real estate industries. Ms. Tachibana has conducted senior-level search assignments for companies ranging from multinational corporations to high-growth, early-stage organizations and has successfully completed numerous repeat assignments for leading global pharmaceutical and medical companies. Ms. Tachibana has been effective at helping her clients build strong leadership teams. She has conducted various searches for C-level executives, presidents and vice presidents for companies in all phases of development, from start-ups to well-established business franchises. Her success is founded on her ability to understand the company's strategic direction, her skill in assessing the cultural fit of the candidates, and her dedication to quality and timeliness. Ms. Tachibana's career in executive search spans over ten years, and most recently she led the healthcare practice at a leading global executive search firm. Prior to 1998, Ms. Tachibana worked with a member of the House of Representatives in Japan, where she was responsible for researching and advising on a wide range of policies. In this capacity, she developed an ability to assess leadership qualities and cultivate her research and analytical skills. Ms. Tachibana started her career at global hospitality companies with a focus on sales and marketing. This early experience nurtured her ability to create and manage the launching of new products and services. Ms. Tachibana has been featured at client seminars and led workshops on professional women in the workplace and how to achieve a successful work-life balance. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from Keio University and is a licensed care worker.
