Ken Suzuki is a partner in Heidrick and Struggles’ Tokyo office where he is a member of the Financial Services Practice and leads the asset management sector in Japan. He also leads senior HR and financial officer search engagements across a broad range of industries. He works for both global and local clients with colleagues around the world.

With more than 8 years of executive search experience in Japan, Ken has successfully placed many country managers, c-level executives, and other critical positions for financial institutions and non-financial client companies.

Before joining Heidrick and Struggles, Ken was a consultant with another leading global executive search firm. Prior his career in executive search and leadership consulting, Ken held leadership roles with BlackRock, most recently as head of HR, Japan and with Barclays Global Investors as CFO and head of HR, Japan. Ken started his career in financial services with American Express.
