Ru Bhatt, a Partner in our New York Associate Practice Group, works closely with lawyers at all stages of their careers to help them achieve their goals. He prides himself on being more than just a recruiter; he’s a career counselor and advocate, coaching his candidates through every step of the recruiting process including integration at their new firms. He takes a holistic approach to getting to know his candidates, including their career goals and ambitions, and then shares his knowledge of the legal landscape to help them make informed decisions. Ru takes great pride in his ability to play "matchmaker" between his candidates and clients and has enjoyed making a meaningful impact in the lives of hundreds of attorneys over the years. He is extremely knowledgeable of the firms throughout the city and provides recommendations based on where candidates will fit culturally and excel professionally. He acts with the best interests of his clients and candidates in mind, focusing solely on being an advocate and trusted advisor to all parties. In his free time, Ru follows his passion for music as a renowned DJ and is actively involved in fundraising efforts for local and national LGBTQ+ and Asian American charity organizations both as a volunteer and board member.
