Viesturs is responsible for general management and strategic planning working mostly with clients in the Finance Services, IT & Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Infrastructure sectors. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications and IT industry. At the start of his career, he held various positions related to marketing and product development, late he became a Council member of Latvia’s largest mobile network operator. After that he joined Microsoft as the Marketing organization manager for the Baltic region. Viesturs’ portfolio includes 175 executive search and board consulting projects for Amrop clients in Ukraine, Latvia, and Estonia, such as Rail Baltic, Lubinor, Accenture, AirBaltic, PrivatBank, Ukrposhta and many others. Viesturs graduated from Riga Technical University with a Radio engineer diploma. In 2002 he obtained MBA degree from Riga Business School. He speaks Latvian, English, Russian, and basic German. Viesturs likes trekking, reading books, listening to music, and watching series.
