Paul has over 30 years of executive search and leadership consulting service in the Bay Area. He has conducted hundreds of search assignments in the professional and financial services, consumer products, technology, and wine industries. Prior to becoming Managing Director of Comhar Partners’ San Francisco office, he ran the Stanton Chase San Francisco office for 13 years and co-founded three additional executive search and organization development consulting firms.

Previous professional career affiliations include KPMG Peat Marwick Consulting in Executive Search, and Deloitte & Touche, where he obtained his CPA license. He consults to PE-backed and high-growth firms on recruiting, leadership development, high-performing business teams, and succession planning. Paul served as Chapter President, State Council member, and State Board member for the California Society of CPAs, a 30,000-member professional association. He also is adjunct faculty for Dominican University of California and has lectured in their MBA program on and taught undergraduate career management topics.

While with a global retained search firm, he founded and led the global Chief Financial Officer practice, regional Financial Services, and regional Professional Services practice groups. Paul earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization Development (MHROD) and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, both from the University of San Francisco. He earned his CPA License from the State of California.
