He also specializes in the Plastics-Packaging industry-uncovering the best Tooling, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Technical, Quality talent around.

Jim has over 25 years of experience in the plastic and medical device industry. He managed the R&D Engineering Department of one of the largest Fortune 500 medical companies in the world. Understanding the plastic, medical device, engineering, tooling, and overall market structure, ensures the ability to be selective when choosing the right candidates for clients.

In 2001, Jim began his own engineering recruiting firm known as Engineering Resource Group, LLC. The company did so well as an independent, Jim felt by joining the world’s largest recruiting company, his business opportunities could only multiply, and in 2004 MRI Coastal Group was formed.

Jim Studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bridgeport and is a member of SPE (Society of Plastics Engineers) and SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers)
