I started off my recruitment career back in the U.K. where I was tasked with mass hiring in the glamourous fruit and vegetable industry! Whilst it might not be the traditional route into creative headhunting, it certainly taught me the valuable skills required in the recruitment industry. I was then given the opportunity to move to Dubai in 2012. I jumped at the chance to move to this exciting part of the world however, my first role in the UAE might not have been everyone’s cup of tea. I lead a sales team in the pest control sector! A tough job, and I must say I saw a side to Dubai that not many others get to see. After a very successful and rewarding two and half years, I then made the move back into recruitment, and haven’t looked back since. Since 2014 I have worked within the regions’ leading talent consultancies, focused in advertising, design, and technology. Throughout my career I have delivered a range of talent solutions including contingent, project, and retained, from mid-level, right through to C-Suite placements. I have continuously grown and developed my skills to be able to advise a range of businesses on best hiring practices. In 2018 I was given the opportunity to move to Singapore, being the second hire in the MCG&Co office. I was tasked with supporting the growth of the business across APAC. I have been successful in placing candidates throughout my career in various markets including Amsterdam, KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Vietnam, and Singapore. Outside of work I love being outdoors, playing golf, wakesurfing, wakeboarding, riding motorbikes, and anything that gets my adrenaline going.
