Sean has over 25 years of search, sales, and business development experience with venture-backed and emerging growth companies in the innovation economy. As a Partner at The Bowdoin Group, Sean started a number of the firm’s practices, including the Digital Health practice. Sean is deeply integrated in the Digital Health ecosystem, working closely with BoDs, VC firms, and PE firms to define their go-to-market strategies and help them understand and define the types of C-level leaders they want and need. He is also responsible for partnering extensively with clients and advising their talent acquisition strategy, large hiring projects, and executive and strategic searches. Through a large network of Digital Health insiders, Sean partners with the Digital Health and HealthTech investor community to facilitate growth and foster a more connected ecosystem. An active member of his local community, Sean serves on the board of The McCourt Foundation, which raises funds for research and treatments of Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s diseases. Sean earned a B.S. in Psychology from St. Anselm College, and lives in Needham with his wife and three children. In addition to being a huge Boston sports fan, Sean enjoys running and coaching his children’s basketball and baseball teams.
