Ryan Barron is a Senior Director in the Industrials Practice. Prior to joining Modern, he was a generalist Senior Associate with Korn Ferry’s Executive Search Consumer Practice where he successfully placed C-Suite executives at industry-leading apparel, fashion, CPG, utility, private equity, agriculture, and travel & hospitality organizations. Before transitioning into the world of executive search, Ryan was employee #3 at UpstartWorks, a startup eCommerce consulting firm specializing in revenue growth and digital advertising optimization for consumer and industrial brands on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, and Wayfair.com. Ryan holds a BA in communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He resides in Kansas City, Missouri and is a proud husband and father of two boys.
