Richard Izzi is a partner in the New York Advisory Group, where he leads transaction services for the tri-state (NY/NJ/CT) area. He specializes in transaction advisory services to buy- and sell-side clients including private equity funds, strategic investors and lenders. Mr. Izzi’s experience includes quality of earnings analysis, profitability analysis, financial projections, cash flow modeling, and purchase agreement consultation. He is also experienced in dispute resolution and litigation matters. Prior to joining Marcum in early 2019, Mr. Izzi was a lead in the transaction advisory services practice of a national accounting firm. Previously, he was a founding partner of a private equity firm specializing in control investments (distressed and non-distressed) in the middle-market, with a focus on industrial products, aerospace manufacturing, construction, business services, and the apparel industry. Mr. Izzi has also served as a member of the finance team at a large multinational corporation and with the transaction advisory services groups at a “Big Four” accounting firm.
