Tyeara Shelly is a Principal for Toft Group, based out of the San Diego headquarters office. Tyeara plays an involved role in the entire recruitment process and excels at identifying and assessing talent for executive positions that are essential to the success of high-performing organizations.

She joined Toft Group from Caldwell Partners, a retained executive search firm, where she was a member of the firm’s professional services and legal practices. She played an integral role in recruiting for director-level through C-level positions across multiple functional areas, and spearheaded search strategies, candidate outreach and assessment, and research to compile one of the most robust databases of leading executives. Prior to Caldwell Partners, Tyeara worked at Prometheus Laboratories, a San Diego-based diagnostic and therapeutic company. She began her career with Bank of America and held progressive roles within its wealth management division, U.S. Trust.

Tyeara holds an MBA from the University of San Diego, with a focus on finance and international business, and earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle.
