Biography
As well as handling Chairmen, CEO, Non-Executive Director appointments in the London market he and his team support Korn Ferry's work with Boards across the EMEA region. Over the last two years Dominic has handled Board searches and advised on Board Effectiveness in Spain, Norway, France, Belgium and the Middle East Before joining Korn Ferry, Dominic worked with Heidrick & Struggles in the firm's Industrial and Board Practices. Between 2005 and 2009 he helped the firm become established in Russia and the CIS. In the early 2000s, Dominic worked as Director of Policy and Research for the British Conservative Party and was a senior aide in the office of the then Leader of the Opposition in the UK Parliament. He has stood to be a Member of the UK Parliament twice and was for a number of years a Councillor in central London. Earlier in his career Dominic spent five years working in the Board Practice of the UK senior executive search and leadership advisory firm, Whitehead Mann Plc (acquired by Korn Ferry in 2009). In the mid-90s he served as a Special Adviser to the Home Secretary (Interior Minister) in John Major's Conservative Administration. Before that he lived and worked in Russia as a journalist for a number of publications and media outlets. In addition to living in Russia, he has lived and worked in Israel, Kazakhstan, Spain and France. State-school educated; Dominic was the first member of his family to go to University. Enabling social mobility and supporting talented people from disadvantaged backgrounds is a passion for Dominic. Over the last decade he has also used his position to champion gender diversity in European Boardrooms. With five daughters he has a (future) vested interest! He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Premier Media Group, which is Europe's largest Christian radio, broadcaster and digital media group. He is also an adviser to the "25 x 25" Initiative, which is working to get 25 female CEOs in the FTSE100 by 2025. Dominic gained an MA (Hons) in Russian and International Relations from the University of St Andrews. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business' Accelerated Development Programme for Senior Managers.
