Lee has been in Darwin for almost 36 years and has held senior roles in the public, private, University and the not-for-profit sector. From 2011 to 2015, Lee was the HR Director at Charles Darwin University, a large employer of 1600 people. All HRIS functions were done in-house and Lee was responsible for payroll, recruitment, WH&S, reporting, and employment issues for the University. She has also held HR/IR Manager positions at Menzies School of Health Research; Fujitsu Consulting; the Chamber of Commerce NT; Catholic Care, Larrakia Nation, and Yilli Rreung. Lee has spent 8 years working in the NTPS (most recently in 2019) and has held executive officer, project manager, policy, and senior administration roles. She has an undergraduate degree in Commerce and three postgraduate qualifications including an MBA.
