Biography
Jens Menzendorf has many years of experience in commercial management, particularly in the areas of finance, controlling, and accounting. His expertise includes corporate planning, forecasts, simulation calculations, and the identification of efficiency and improvement potential. He also has in-depth knowledge of project, investment, and financial controlling, as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated financial statements, including consolidation and closing entries. His hands-on approach and in-depth process knowledge enable him to clearly present complex issues and work directly with the relevant departments. He also has experience in implementing BI tools and is proficient in MS Office and specialized controlling software solutions such as Qlik Sense and LucaNet.
He holds a degree in business administration from HHU and Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences, specializing in accounting, finance, and controlling. In consulting, he specializes in commercial issues, particularly in the areas of digitalization (AI), process management, and efficiency improvement. He also has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and tax issues. His project management expertise includes project scaling, project tracking, and the development of project breakdown structures. He ensures that cost targets and margins are met.
The world of interim management is new to him, but he already brings extensive experience in related fields. He works across industries, particularly in mechanical and plant engineering, particularly wet processing technology and tunnel construction. Here, he has successfully managed projects with a volume of up to €15 million. He also has expertise in special foundation engineering, food production (particularly sausage and long-life baked goods), and environmental recycling, such as soil washing systems and steel mill dust recycling. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spinning, and riding a motorcycle.
