Brad Evoy

Biography
Brad Evoy is an executive search professional and a member of the Qalipu Mi’kmaq Nation. Brad joined Leaders International from the indigenous-led non-profit and wider academic sectors and is now a Consultant within our Indigenous Markets Team. Brad’s previous work related to corporate and university governance and management provides him with a unique set of perspectives when it comes to the development and execution of executive search. Prior to joining Leaders, Brad was the Executive Director of Makonsag Aboriginal Head Start, Inc. and held a variety of positions in the non-profit sector. During his academic career, he was also a member of the Memorial University Senate and the University of Toronto’s Graduate Education Council. Brad’s work in these arenas provided him with a strong basis for project development, facilitation, relationship building, research, information technology, and client relations. He has also served in governance roles including with the Ontario Aboriginal Head Start Association, Ottawa Aboriginal Coalition, Guelph and Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination, Toronto Sustainable Food Cooperative, and the University of Toronto Council on Student Services. As a disabled Mi’kmaq organizational and strategic planning specialist, Brad is deeply committed to supporting the development of diverse Indigenous talent in executive and board positions across various industries.
