Michael Sherwood (aka “Woody”) is a Toronto native who has worked and managed in the Hotel, Restaurant and Hospitality industries for close to 30 years. Woody joins MacDonald Search Group leveraging his 13 plus years in recruitment most recently as Vice President Recruitment Lead focused on the Consumer and Foodservice sector with a prior firm.

Woody has worked with several organizations, including: The Molson Companies, the Air Canada Centre Toronto and Aramark Canada – in which he was a natural leader responsible for managing within restaurants, stadiums, university campuses and hotels. Mike gained an intimate knowledge and understanding of the Quick Service Restaurant market, working with, and managing several National Brands including Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Pizza Pizza, Bento Sushi, Manchu Wok, MTY Food Group, and more.
