Marilena Varela is a Consultant at Stanton Chase Athens. Her industry expertise spans the industrial, energy, natural resources, shipping, and maritime sectors. In her current capacity as a Consultant, she is involved with every aspect of an executive search project’s lifecycle at both local and international levels. She has also contributed to projects in other sectors, such as professional services, FMCG, retail, and hospitality. Before joining Stanton Chase, Marilena worked in talent acquisition across several industries, including banking, retail, and scale-up ecosystems. She managed end-to-end international recruitment efforts for a variety of positions, covering different hierarchical levels and functions, thus gaining significant expertise in project resource coordination. Marilena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in German Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Strategic Human Resources Management from Alba Graduate Business School. She is fluent in English, German, and Greek.
