Hege Solbakken has been a senior manager in the consulting industry and in the marine industries and has been a regional manager in a major IT company. Her strengths are in change management, organizational and business development, and ESG. She has board experience from ASA companies, AS, foundations and publicly owned organizations. Solbakken was State Secretary and Chief of Staff in the Stoltenberg 2 and 3 governments and political advisor in Bondevik 1. Hege has worked with executive recruitment in several industries since 2016, selecting managers, specialists and board members. She also provides strategic advice related to board work. Hege is a certified user of psychometric testing tools such as MAP, Matrigma, OPQ and Aon, as well as the leadership development tool JTI/Teamkompasset. She holds a major in comparative politics from UiB, and has postgraduate studies in Business & Human Rights (UiB) and Board Competence (BI). She started as a partner at Bønes Virik in 2022.
