Born and bred in New Zealand, I graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Finance & Accounting and a Postgraduate in Commercial Law. I started my career and gained my Chartered Accountancy qualification with a Big 4 auditing firm based in Auckland, New Zealand.  After qualifying, I decided I wanted to explore the world and made the move to Asia joining a tier 1 investment bank in Hong Kong.  A few years into my Finance career I was then given an exciting opportunity to move into the world of recruitment, focusing on Finance & Accounting, and have never looked back. After 6 years of recruiting in Hong Kong, I then moved to London and joined Ambition UK, recruiting in Tax within Practice.
